I usually have yogurt for lunch and enjoy switching up the flavors for a variety of taste. I reached the yogurt aisle and decided to change the normal yogurt I get and try out Weight Watchers Berries ‘n Cream Yogurt. The yogurt was very creamy and the berries were more of an aftertaste. I was disappointed, since I was expecting the berries to be equal in taste and not an afterthought.
The nutritional facts were clearly listed on the container. The yogurt container has 170g, which is one serving size and has 100 calories, .05g of fat, 5mg of cholesterol, 110mg of sodium, 250mg of potassium, 6g of protein and 17g of carbohydrates including 12g of sugar. The high amount of carbohydrates raised a concern.
The consumer information was alright. Weight Watchers listed a snail mail address, website, 1-800 number and expiration date. I applaud them for listing all the relevant information, but some of the information was very difficult to read due to the small font. I would suggest they put all the information in one place and in a larger font.
Overall, I give Weight Watchers Berries ‘n Cream Yogurt a 350 DFC. I thought the yogurt tasted alright and needs more berries. I am concerned about the high amount of carbohydrates and sugars. Also, the consumer information needs some work with the font size and how all the information was listed. It is always good to try new foods out but I am not a fan of this yogurt.

Pass The Gravy!
Tomorrow is one of the best holidays in the United States. A day when you eat turkey, watch football and spend the whole day with your family. One of the most important part of the meal besides the big turkey is good mashed potatoes and gravy. Therefore, this weeks review is Brown Gravy Mix from McCormick in anticipation of the big day. The Gravy was thick but not heavy which was great. It had a strong taste with hints of beef.
The nutritional facts were clearly marked on the back of the packaged. Based on 1 tablespoon or 6g the gravy has 20 calories, .5 g of fat, 340mg of sodium, less then 1g of protein and 3g of carbohydrates.
The consumer information was done well. They listed a 1-800 number, website, snail mail address and an expiration date. All the information was legible and easy to find.
Overall, I give McCormick Brown Gravy Mix a 150 DFC. I thought the gravy tasted pretty good. I was a little concerned about the high sodium but everything else seemed alright. The consumer information was all clearly labeled, which we like to see. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and having some good gravy with my meal.
