It was Sunday night movie night and I was looking for something sweet to have for a snack. I found Nana’s Fudgy Wadgy cookie bar in my kitchen and thought I would give it the DFC taste test. I thought the bar was dry. However, it did have a strong chocolate taste and chocolate chips that really made me smile.
The nutritional information was no where to be found, which made this treat a real downer. How can a product be placed on the market with out even listing the nutritional information? So far this bar is not up to par.
The consumer information was no where to be found on the packaging. Clearly, this was disappointing and unacceptable. The only information listed on the bar was the ingredients.
Overall, I give Nana’s Fudgy Wadgy Cookie Bar a 450 DFC. I thought the bar tasted pretty good, but needed to be less dry. However, the nutritional information and consumer information were horrific and an example of worst practices for nutritional information and consumer information labeling. I hope everyone uses this as an example of how not to label your product.
